We are looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful part time administrator to join our
team who can demonstrate a wide range of administrative duties.

The candidate should demonstrate:
Proven experience in administration

  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills – particularly on the telephone
  • Ability to organise workload and effectively manage priorities
  • Accuracy, as you will be responsible for updating and maintaining confidential records using UNISON systems.

Working as part of a busy Branch you will need to be flexible and work well within the
team. The role will be based at our offices in the Royal Edinburgh Hospital. However,
there will be occasions where the post holder will be required to work across the
NHS Lothian site. You will be employed under UNISON terms and conditions and
are able to contribute to the UNISON staff pension scheme. The role is for 21 hours,
(3 days) per week, preferred days will be discussed further at the interview stage.
Starting salary will be £27,375 pro rata.
