Following UNISON members voting to reject the current NHS pay offer, our negotiators and other trade unions will meet Scottish Government and NHSS Employers early next week to continue pay talks.
Wilma Brown, chair of UNISON Scotland Health Committee, said: “We are working at pace to move to ballot members on strike action, based on local branches developing ballot priorities and targets.
“That work continues but we have agreed with others to meet Scottish Government and NHSS Employers early next week to continue the pay talks. We remain resolute in maintaining the £2205 as a minimum so there must be an increase in the overall pot.”
Help continue the pressure and please add your name to a campaign letter to Nicola Sturgeon calling on the Scottish Government to deliver a fair pay settlement.
