UNISON Scotland lead for local government David OConnor said: “Education staff don’t want
to have to keep walking out. But the only way to end this dispute is by talking. Cosla, the government and the union must sit down in the same room to find a solution soon.
“John Swinney must stop closing doors and start listening to dedicated council and schools employees. All staff want is for his government to value them more and treat them the same as other public sector workers.”
