On this day, in years previous, we would be on the streets of our cities, celebrating PRIDE with our LGBT+ members in UNISON.
We know why public health measures advise against this, and we look forward to those better days, when we can join in a right good time.
Meanwhile, after the tragic events in Glasgow on Friday, whatever the circumstances, ever more must we recognise the trade union role in fighting oppression all forms, celebrating diversity which enriches all our lives, and commit to strive for a society which shall embrace all.
