Final push to beat Anti-Trade Union Act for Local Government Workers

Local Government Ballot has now closed. Thank you for voting

Christina McAnea, general secretary of UNISON Scotland, was in Scotland to day to thank everyone who has voted, for the hard work by UNISON activists and staff, and to remind everyone this is the final few hours to get your ballot returned. Ballots must be received by 10am on Tuesday 26 July.

Christina was meeting Lilian Macer Convener of UNISON Scotland and Mark Ferguson, Chair of UNISON Scotland who also were out speaking to activists.  A 2% offer is derisory, the Scottish Government and employers need to understand that local government workers are worth much much more.
