Johanna Baxter explains why UNISON has suspended local government strikes

Johanna Baxter, UNISON Scotland head of local government, explains to BBC Radio Scotland why UNISON has suspended strikes and consulting UNISON local government members on the latest COSLA increased pay offer to local government workers.

Johanna Baxter says local government workers are fed up with being treated as the poor relations of the public sector and she says:”  The Scottish Government and COSLA need to underpin this offer with increased investment otherwise the prospect is us being here in exactly the same place this time next year.”
