Christina and Lilian in Shetland and Orkney was a 'brilliant visit'

General secretary Christina McAnea visited Shetland and Orkney, where she was joined by Scottish secretary Lilian Macer

Christina and Lilian visited branches speaking to about issues effecting their members. They opened UNISON’s most northerly branch office. thanked members who took strike action last year.

Christina said “it was a brilliant few days. It was so good to hear about issues facing members in the islands. I also wanted to thank members for taking strike action last year.
