UNISON’s Further Education branch is recommending members vote to accept the pay offer.
UNISON members in Scotland’s colleges are now voting on a new, final offer of £1000 consolidated, with the UNISON FE branch committee recommending a vote to accept. The new, final offer retains various other commitments and improvements on terms and conditions, including joint work to explore a four day working week.
Members will have received a link to an online vote last week, or will soon receive a postal ballot if we do not have an email address on file. If members have difficulty accessing the attachments to their online vote, the full employer offer and a more detailed advice document from the branch can be found below.
Members will have until the 1st of July to vote, and if the vote is to accept, every effort will be made to expedite payments to college staff.
This offer is covers the 21/22 pay year, with Further Education one of the last public service pay settlements for ‘last’ year. Work will begin soon across the trade unions on the 22/23 Further Education pay round.
