This booklet has been produced by the Scottish Young Members Committee as part of their ‘How’s Yer Heid’ campaign. It aims to introduce you to some basic mindfulness techniques.
Mindfulness is a quality that every human being already possesses. It is the ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing. When we’re mindful, we reduce stress, enhance performance, and gain awareness and insight. There are positive benefits for our health, happiness, work, and relationships.
The best part is anyone can do it.
